GE's Transfix multi-gas monitor is regularly testing trace
amounts of the gases in this transformer's oil using photo
acoustic spectroscopy. Continuous monitoring of oil chemistry
can provide advanced knowledge of developing fault conditions.

GE's Multilin T60 transformer protection system monitors for fault conditions ranging from; winding and tank faults, core insulation failure, thermal overloads, and overvoltage. While providing this protection, the T60 simultaneously captures waveforms and data via the transient recorder, insuring anomalies are documented for necessary diagnostics.

GE's Intellix BMT three hundred is continuously monitoring the condition of the transformer bushings and partial discharge activity within the main tank. The results are communicated to the control center via IEC 61850 communications over a reliable and secure GE wireless network.
