The B30 is a digital relay that provides low-impedance bus protection, control, and metering in one integrated package. It may be used as a standalone device or as a component of an automated substation control system. What's New in the B30: New 2nd Differential Zone gives additional protection flexibility to the B30
The 2nd differential zone is identical to the 1st one and enables the B30 to suit a larger number of bus bar schemes such as separate small bars, split bars or single bus bar with supervision zone (firmware version 5.70).
