The T60, a member of the UR family of protection relays, is a 3-phase, multiple winding, transformer relay intended for the primary protection and management of small, medium and large power transformers. The T60 combines percent and instantaneous differential with Overcurrent protection along with a whole suite of current, voltage and frequency protection elements, and multiple settings groups in one easily configured, economical package. An innovative improvement to the traditional harmonic inrush inhibit of the percent differential element increases security while maintaining fault response performance. The Multilin T60 Transformer Protection relay can now include a third CT/VT module (DSP) to protect power transformers with up to 5 current sources, making the T60 the right choice for complicated power transformer protection schemes, i.e. breaker and a half in the HV winding and multiple feeders in the LV winding (firmware version 5.70). New RRTD and RTD alarm and trip settings
The Multilin T60 offers RTD alarm and trip settings to provide advanced monitoring of power transformers’ temperature. In addition, the RRTD module enables remote monitoring and metering of up to 12 programmable RTDs which reduces the number of RTD cables and provides temperature backup protection (firmware version 5.70). Fully Compatible with GE's Multlilin HardFiber System - Provides support for GE's IEC 61850
