Release 2.0

Introduction

EnerVista Energy Aggregator vesion 2.0 is the latest offering from GE for cost allocation and tenant billing applications. Energy Aggregator is designed to retrieve demand and energy-related data from physical devices and to store the data in an open SQL database. Up to eight (8) parameters can be collected from each physical device. Once the data has been stored, it can be combined to define cost centers and to create virtual meters (A virtual meter is a nonexistent meter that is a mathematical combination of physical meters). The data can then be exported and analyzed in a variety of ways such as computing an electrical bill over various date ranges for a single cost center, a single device, or an entire plant. The product also provides the ability to analyze data by shifting from one rate schedule to another, moving on-peak usage into off-peak periods, and aggregating individual billing accounts.

Energy Aggregator is web enabled, so the user can access and configure the data over net. Enterprise Energy Aggregator brings the data for multiple sites together and thus gives an Enterprise solution for Energy Management.

New Features (version 2.0):

  • Rate structure has a built-in extendibility for user to defines specific time components matching their energy billing needs. This includes:
    • Season of use
    • Day of use (with user defined, weekly, weekday, and weekend settings)
    • Holidays (including user defined holidays)
    • Time of use (with on-peak, off-peak, mid-week, etc.)
  • Billing Features:
    • Curtailment
    • Consumption based billing
    • Block Rates
    • Ratchet & non-ratchet penalty
    • Penalty on average demand, peak demand, load factor & power factor
    • Taxes and surcharges
    • Percentile dividends
    • Fixed charges
    • Daily, monthly or annual charges
    • KW, KVA, KVAR, KWH, KVAH or KVARH, based billing
    • Coincident & non-coincident demand billing
    • Flat rates
Note: Real-time pricing and late pay penalty are not supported.
  • New independent viewer screens display billing determinants:
    • Peak demand with date & time (KW, KVA or KVAR)
    • Average demand (KW, KVA or KVAR)
    • Power factor (peak & demand)
    • Load Factor (For demand only)
    • Energy consumption (KWH, KVAH or KVARH)
  • Users are able to enter data manually and edit logged values from the database.
  • New configuration allows for automatic generation of configured reports such as energy bills and billing determinants.

* The MDI-RLU, and Square D Enercept are not tightly integrated in GE's DDE Server. Generic Device Registers/Mnemonics need to be imported to GE's DDE Server before server can talk to these devices. Energy Aggregator provides these mnemonic files with in "C:\GE_PMCS\Aggregator\Device dlls folder". The 7430D use same mnemonics as for 7450D and both are supported in GE32EIND. Energy Aggregator requires updated set of mnemonics for GE32EIND and this mnemonic file is also available in "C:\GE_PMCS\Aggregator\Device dlls" folder.

Here C:\GE_PMCS is the default target directory of installation.
