Lentronics Multiplexers offers a choice of two Ethernet connections, the Ether-10 and the Ether –100 unit. These units are used to interface to a local LAN. They function as an intelligent learning bridge and offer transparent Ethernet LAN extension service over a JungleMUX SONET, TN1U SDH or TN1Ue SDH network. In a ring configuration there is minimum disruption to mission critical Ethernet applications in case of unit or fiber failure.
