Make four copies
of the "Commercial Invoice" and staple these to the air
waybill. Please state:
- "Canadian
goods being returned to manufacturer. No commercial value, value
is for customs purposes only."
This is very important.
- The original
value of the units.
For Federal
Express, also include the following:
- Shipper/Exporter:
Contact, company name and full address.
- Country of
manufacture.
- Importer
- full name and address.
- Air waybill
number.
- Description
of unit: full description, harmonized code.
- Reason for
export.
- Any part
of serial numbers.

This is the fastest, most fail-safe method to return relays to us.
They look after all details, including customs clearance. This method
is fairly expensive, especially for heavier shipments (over 10 pounds)
