This two-day course emphasizes the application of technology, and encourages interactive discussion. The fundamental concepts of IED (Intelligent Electronic Device) integration and substation automation, including levels of activity, operational, and non-operational data, along with an overview of IEC61850 will be discussed. Technical and design issues, and business drivers, for substation automation are included.
 



Any personnel who require an understanding of the “Smart Grid” including managers, consultants, project engineers and anyone involved in the planning of power systems.
