What will I learn from this course?
This course is designed for utility electrical personnel that are
responsible for installing, configuring or maintaining the ALPS or LPS
Transmission Line Protection Relays. Through a combination of lectures
and practical Lab exercises, students will learn about all of the major
Protection elements in the relay and how to install, wire, configure and
troubleshoot faults using both the ALPS and LPS Relays.
Who should attend?
Electrical engineering personnel who are responsible for configuring,
installing, testing or maintaining the ALPS and LPS Relays will benefit
most from this course.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge in distance protection
The Transmission Line Protection Interactive Learning CD would be an asset
