What will I learn from this course?
The
class starts with basic generator theory and the associated protection requirements.
Through a combination of lectures and practical lab exercises, the class will
learn how to correctly configure, monitor and test the operation of the specific
SR489 generator protective elements.

Plant
electrical maintenance personnel who are responsible for the installation, testing,
maintenance of GE Multilin motor management relays.
Prerequisites
Basic understanding of electrical circuits
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows® an asset
This class includes fully equipped hands-on Lab exercises with Relays and Laptop PCs provided for each pair of students.
