Transmission Line Protection Principles and Relaying
What will I learn from this course? This course begins with an overview of basic Transmission Line
terminology, Distance theory, Distance schemes in addition to
Differential Line protection. Through a combination of lectures and
practical Lab exercises, the class will learn how to correctly confi gure
the D60 and ALPS Distance relays the L90 line current differential and
L60 LinePhase Comparison.
Who should attend? Electrical maintenance and engineering personnel who wish to gain
a better understanding of Transmission Line protection and the
procedures to install and configure the GE Multilin Transmission Line
Protection Relays.
