The FieldSmart Mobile Framework version 4.3.1 has arrived!

The Digital Energy business is pleased to announce the release of the MapFrame™ FieldSmart Mobile Framework version 4.3.1.

The release includes the new MapFrame™ FieldSmart Configuration Environment (FCE) product, which provides the ability for partners and/or customers to construct, configure and deploy a FieldSmart solution. The FCE provides configuration access to nearly all FieldSmart features and greatly reduces the time required to deploy changes or an entire mobile solution to the field.

Southern California Edison SAP GIS Integration with SBI

At Southern California Edison (SCE) ITS Informationstechnik Service GmbH (ITS) was subcontracted by General Electric (GE) to implement the integration of SAP PM with the Smallworld GIS. The main part of the backend integration is the synchronization of asset data updates from SAP to the GIS. The connectivity of substations on the circuit level is synchronized in the opposite direction from GIS to SAP. Some of this information is also sent to a third system via SAP PI.
